In a world full of contradictions, suffering of people and animals, and a nature that is under heavy pressure, it is easy to lose yourself in fear, disappointment and anger. To harden your judgment. Blaming and shaming others. To lose your faith in the goodness of mankind, or even life itself. This way life may feel like an unfair battle, where all parties are mainly focussed on being right.
What helps me not to get overwhelmed by this, is to look at the whole worldstage from a greater height. To spread my wings like a bird and transcend the drama, all stories. Relax my body and mind. And from the freedom I then experience, I look at things in a different way.
I see how everything in life is always moving and changing. And how all ignorance must be lived to lead to new insights and wisdom. Of course you can be angry and sad, scared and frustrated! What matters is what you do with it. Pointing at others and focussingon all the 'wrongs' ultimately only brings more judgment, rejection and division. You cannot solve negative situations with a negative attitude.
While the real power you have is so immense! You can choose how you deal with negative feelings and how you respond. By not focusing so much on what is wrong, but moving YOURSELF in the direction of what it feels like to be free, honest, loving and peaceful. Life becomes so much lighter and freer when you let go of what others do and don't do, accept that everyone is different, walks a different path and both makes mistakes and brings something beautiful and unique into the world. By choosing to look from love. Mainly to focus on yourself and your own path and awareness in this. And thus also gives the other person the space to follow his or her own path. For more love, acceptance, freedom and peace. Within yourself and towards others.
